Serious game prototype developed as an educational tool to suplement guided visits to the outdoor rock art sites of the Côa Valley Archaeological Park, located in the portuguese district of Guarda, through the combination of AR with digital storytelling.
The game is set in the Paleolithic period, where the player acts as a time traveler going back in time to the Paleolithic period, to a traditional tribal camp, and has to climb up the ranks to earn the trust of the group to eventually be seen as one of them, by performing a variety of rock art related tasks.
Built in Unity3D, using AR frameworks such as ARCore, Vuforia and XR Interaction Toolkit.
